Route : Jaisalmer - Bheelon ki Dhani - Salkha - Keshwa - Lakhmna - Gypsy village - Luno Ki Basti - Shakar Ki Dhani - Siyalon ki Basti - Turk Village - Gaga Village - Mattu Village- Jaisalmer

DAY 1 :

The departure for the tour is early in the morning at 7:30 am and we drive the 50 km to the campsite outside of Jaisalmer by jeep, where we arrive in time to watch the stunning sunrise with breakfast at the camp.

8:30 am to 12:00 noon – The exciting camel safari is setting out with a ride to Bheelon ki Dhani after which you continue your ride, visiting Salkha on the way.

12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch and rest in the shade of some trees near the oasis as the sun is fierce at this time of the day.

3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – The camel trek begins again from Keshwa village (Mixed caste village). You will find native wild life to watch and villages on your ride through the isolated sand dunes (Lakhmna).

Your trek continues, taking you across the desert with a stop to watch the amazing sunset before bringing you to our campsite for your first night. After a day of experiencing the desert you can relax into the evening with a delicious dinner, freshly prepared for you over the camp fire, followed by a good night’s sleep on your clean bed roll beneath the star studded sky and the dreams of the desert.

DAY 2 :

Having the magical sunrise served with your breakfast will set you up for your second day of adventures, where the tour continues with visits to villages and sand dunes (from Day 2 on any visits to villages are optional according to the wishes of the group; alternatively, the group can choose to enjoy the desert wild life and natural countryside with its peaceful quietness).

8:00 am to 12:00 noon – You will experience the desert environment and get a look at the desert vegetation and the exotic creatures on the sand. In this part of the desert you can visit Khayala village (a traditional village of Muslim people) and Megha village (a village of mixed caste).

12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch followed by rest in the shade of trees.

3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – The afternoon ride will take you to Gypsy village and the beautiful Sajeet sand dunes.

We stop for another stunning sunset on the way and after your second day of encountering the desert you can enjoy watching the preparation of your tasty dinner over the camp fire; and sleeping beneath the beautiful starry sky on your bed roll you can have more dreams of the desert.

DAY 3 :

Enjoy the sunrise over breakfast served in bed and continue your adventurous tour with visits to villages and sand dunes.

8:00 am to 12:00 noon – Your ride will take you further across the desert to give you more impressions of the vegetation and wild life (along with two villages on the way).

12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch followed by rest in the shade.

3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Enjoy the camel trek while riding to the next village, Bhaiarsar and get the real feel of the desert by visiting remote villages.

You will reach the Sangar dunes, where you will spend your third night under the stars, in time to enjoy the sunset and traditional camp fire and dinner.

DAY 4 :

Sunrise with breakfast served in bed will get you ready for the adventures of the final day of your tour.

8:00 am to 12:00 noon – Your trek through the remote desert areas continues, visiting Luno Ki Basti and later calling at Shakar Ki Dhani if you wish.

12:00 noon to 3:00 pm – Lunch and rest in the shade.

3:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Enjoy some more camel riding and
galloping on the way to our campsite and return to Jaisalmer by a one-hour jeep drive.

6:30 pm – The tour ends.

There are facilities available free of charge to leave your luggage before or after the tour if you are arriving or leaving close to the departure/return time. For a small charge there are also shower facilities available.
